Whitfield firefighters build ramp for elderly woman hurt in accident

Whitfield County firefighters from the first shift at Stations 1 and 2 recently joined forces to build a ramp to the front porch of an elderly woman confined to a wheelchair after an accident. Firefighters — including Lts. Nathan Callaway and Josh Key, Engineers Sam Hammontree and Scotty Tate, and Firefighter Ryan Robbs — purchased the material and built the ramp at the Tea Roll Drive house in the Pleasant Grove area.
