Not satisfied with the Dalton City Council

I am very disappointed in the Dalton City Council and Mayor Dennis Mock. The way they have apparently treated Dalton Depot restaurant owner T.J. Kaikobad is disrespectful and wrong.

I understand that an old building may need some work to be safe, and that they are concerned about liability. But Mr. Kaikobad should have been included in the discussion from the beginning. A solution that did not involve suddenly putting a lot of people out of work and leaving many holiday plans hanging should have been found together. To not allow him to speak at either the closed meeting or at the open meeting (“Your time is up”) is not how I want my mayor and city council handling problems.

I have lost respect for Mayor Mock and for the current city council.
