Taft H. Ellis

Mr. Taft H. Ellis, 77, of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, Feb. 20, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dellis and Margaret Ellis; sisters, Aileen Mathis, Winnie Patterson; brothers, D.L. “Buck” Ellis, Ralph Ellis and Robert Ellis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Brenda Ellis; children and spouses, Jeffery and Donna Ellis, Gwendolyn and Jeremy Harden, Gregory Ellis, all of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Shawna Ellis, Alex Ellis, Jeremy “JJ” Harden, Taft Harden and Emmalyn Harden, all of Chatsworth; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Mary Ellis; sister and brother-in-law, Magalynn and Robert Youell and Joyce Bryant, all of Chatsworth; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Bobby Green and David Owens officiating. Interment will be in Center Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday after 5 p.m.
