Accident on I-75 cleared in Ringgold

The state Department of Transportation traffic camera near the Catoosa County weigh station going north as of 4:15 p.m. today.

A major accident involving reported injuries on I-75 north just past exit 348 in Ringgold that backed traffic up several miles has been cleared.

At the time, all motorists traveling northbound towards the Tennessee state line from the Atlanta area were “strongly encouraged to use alternate routes in order to avoid extreme delays,” according to the state Department of Transportation.
