Charles R. Gladden

Charles R. Gladden, 80, of Rocky Face, passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Jean Gladden.

He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Tyrone Sloan of Statham, Becky and Mike Carpenter and Linda Masters, all of Rocky Face, Patty and Larry Bramblett of Tunnel Hill; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Darlene Gladden of Cohutta; eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; one great-great-grandson; nieces and nephews.

A service to honor the life of Charles R. Gladden is today at 2 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Pastor Clayton Brown officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from noon until the service hour at 2 p.m.
