Mrs. Opal Davenport, 74, of Chatsworth, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin Clinton Davenport; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Ronnie Greeson, Joan and Randy Greeson of Chatsworth, and Teresa and H.C. Williams of Ellijay; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sisters, Nellie Rogers and Nancy Sisson of Chatsworth; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Mountain View Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Jackson, Rev. Robbie Chastain and the Rev. Crafton Dover officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 3:30 p.m. today.

Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
