Betty Jo West

Mrs. Betty Jo West, 76, of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2006 at the residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck West, a daughter, Janice Mooney; a son, James Robert West; grandaughters, Joanie Bishop and Faith Liles and a brother, Parion Mims.

Survivors include her children, Charlotte Durrance, of Ormand, Fla., Paul Dills of Ringgold, Steve Dills of Shannon, Ed Dills, Gayle Woods of Chatsworth, Joe Dills of Crandall and Angie Williams of Talking Rock; 26 grandchildren; 21 grat-great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Helderman of Daytona, Fla; best friend, Mrs. Ruby Rogers, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at the Smyrna Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev. Wayne Filbeck officiating. Interment will follow in the Dewberry Cemetery.

Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
