• A 48-year-old Dalton woman was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of a schedule 2 drug (opium), possession of meth with intent to distribute, use of communication facilities in drug transactions and crossing a guard line with a weapon without consent.

• A 32-year-old Dalton man was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth, trafficking cocaine (possession), use of communication facilities in drug transactions and felony failure to appear.
• A 31-year-old Dalton man was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with criminal attempt to commit a felony, possession of a schedule 2 drug (opium), possession of a schedule 1/2 drug with intent to distribute, trafficking opium or derivative of (possession) and use of communication facilities in drug transactions.
• A 33-year-old Chatsworth man was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with trafficking marijuana (possession), two counts of possession of marijuana, sale of or intent to sell marijuana, possession of a schedule 1 drug, possession of meth, possession of a firearm/knife during the commission of a felony and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• A 29-year-old Tunnel Hill woman was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with trafficking marijuana (possession), possession of marijuana, sale of or intent to sell marijuana, possession of a schedule 1 drug, possession of meth, possession of a firearm/knife during the commission of a felony and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• A 34-year-old Cohutta man was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with false imprisonment, simple assault (family violence), cruelty to children (allowing to witness felony/battery/family violence) and cruelty to children (allowing to see/hear/commit forcible felony/battery/family violence).
