Alice Smithey Jordan

Alice Smithey Jordan, 66, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Winfred and Ruby Smithey.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Jordan of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Chriss Suddeth of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Charles Hardaker of Dalton and Anne and Steve Mitchell of Big Piney, Wyo.; grandchildren, Patrick and Parker Suddeth, both of Dalton; aunt, Louise Martin of Dalton; sister-in-law, Virginia Pritchard of Dalton; brother-in-law, Robert and and Ruth Jordan of Camden, S.C.; nephews, David and Beth Hardaker of Ala., Stephen and Angela Hardaker of Columbus, Ohio, and Scott Payne of Calhoun; nieces, Mary Anne and Wes Fogle of Dalton, Mary and Gene Payne of Calhoun and Tiffany Marshall of Calhoun.

The funeral is today at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating.

Burial will be in United Methodist Gardens.

The family received friends at the funeral home Wednesday.
