Esther Mae Hill

Mrs. Esther Mae Hill, of Tunnel Hill, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. James and Mrs. Estelle Moore; sister, Ms. Blanche Moore; and six brothers, Misters Samuel, Earl, James Jr., Pharris, Amos and Mitchell Moore.

Survivors are her loving husband of 53 years, Mr. Albert E. Hill Sr. of Tunnel Hill; three daughters, Mrs. Wanda (Ralph) Jackson, Mrs. Melissa (Hammad) El-Ameen of Rocky Face and Ms. Shipley Hill of Dalton; one son, Minister Albert E. (Jennell) Hill Jr. of Ringgold; two sisters, Ms. Eugenia Moore and Ms. Clara Moore of Dalton; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Homegoing Services are Thursday at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 900 Roan St., with Pastor Nathan Nance and other ministers officiating.

Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home Wednesday after 11 a.m. and the family will receive friends at the funeral home that evening from 7 to 8 p.m.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
