“Yes, the vagrants in town are not interested in breweries. They’re interested in bumming money from drunk, young executives.”

“Like those who are hired into academia, I too, a nurse, would enjoy a sabbatical. I’ve been working for 30 years and have not had one since I delivered two children. So please, when can I have my sabbatical?”

“In reference to the seven-foot boa constrictor crawling around, where did it come from? Who was the owner? The snake could have killed a small child. The person that let the snake loose should be punished.”

“I just read the enforcement code to ensure a neat neighborhood. I wonder if anyone in city government has read it. I live in Brookwood. There are 10 violations within a block of my home. Each should receive a citation. Not one has been issued. Does no one in code enforcement or city government have a backbone?”

“Take it to the bank. Congress is not going to stop your Social Security check. The Democrats have tried this in the past just to scare people.”

“Yes, Donald, you do.”

“It’s not just a Southern rule, it’s Southern and Northern law that you can’t understand the fast-food restaurants’ speakers in the drive-thru.”

“Just saw Southeast High School’s presentation of the musical ‘Aladdin.’ It is done in both English and Spanish. If you have time this weekend, you should go see and support their efforts. Those kids did a fabulous job. You also need to support your other local high school drama departments.”

“You really don’t think that Donald cares about Syria, do you? I mean after all, we were getting out of there and now all of the sudden he’s a concerned citizen. This is completely a distraction because that dude is in trouble, domestically speaking.”

“What’s this mission in Syria going to be called? Operation Desert Stormy?”

“Why didn’t Barack Obama have the courage to do what Donald Trump has done?”

“Good, old President Trump has tried to challenge the swamp. He’s waded into the swamp and now that he’s in the swamp, I think he’s stepped into some quicksand. It seems like he’s sinking.”

“Here’s to the great Mueller. He doesn’t work for the FBI. He works for the Clinton/Obama organization.”

“The more I read some of these liberal comments in the Forum, the more I think you liberal Democrats have been sitting on your brain too long. It’s stifled.”

“If the City Council and the mayor want to help the people of Dalton, they need to make sure that health center stays open to help our citizens who can’t afford care or don’t have health insurance.”

“If you want to know where the Dalton City Council’s allegiance is, just wait and see who the new health care provider at the Mack Gaston Center is. Follow the money, folks.”
