Clora M. Smith Myer, 68, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carmon Denise Myer; and father, Dewey C. Smith.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Myer; daughters and sons-in-law, Koy Diane and Wayne Wells of Chatsworth, Cathy and Joe Buce of Dalton, Sherry and Thomas Hensley of Kodak, Tenn.; mother, Inez Smith of Rising Fawn; sisters, Bernice Howard of Rock Springs, and Brenda Miller of Wallaceville; brother, James E. Smith of Douglasville; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at New Salem Baptist Church in Rising Fawn with Rev. Fred Bradford officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 315 Mimosa Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37920.
