Wreck injures motorcyclist

A man was airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga on Friday after his motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle on Dawnville Road around 4:30 p.m., officials with the Whitfield County 911 Center said.

The man was thrown 100 feet from the motorcycle, officials said. At least one other person was involved in the collision. Officials said they believed those injuries were minor.
