Jessie Mae Owens Davis, 63, of LaFayette, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007.

She was a member of New Harvest Baptist Church and an employee of Lost and Found Baggage.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, James William Davis; daughters, Janet Hayes of Dalton, Janice Jackson of LaFayette; sisters, Jean Maddux of Trion, Debbie Smith of Rossville; brother, Rodd Owens of Ellijay; grandchildren, Bethany Ausmus, John and Daniel Jackson; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral from Wallis Memorial Chapel will be Thursday at 2 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Jennings.

Pallbearers are Johnny Stephens, Mike Ramey, John Revis, James Jackson, J.C. Chastain and Steve Wilson.

Interment will be in LaFayette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home of LaFayette.
