“You’re wrong. Don’t vote from your heart, vote from your head. Donald Trump would be the best of the two.”

“They need a policeman out here on Davidson Drive and Manly Street when school gets out. They block the whole street on Davidson Drive. You can’t even get out into Manly Street. You sit there and can’t get out. If you had an emergency you’d just be stuck.”

“D.J. Trump seems to inspire (give life to) paranoia and hatred in both parties. Dems, stop stealing Trump signs. Put up some of your own. Other side, whatever you are these days, stop talking about overthrowing the U.S. government.”

“Good to see that local school officials, et al., still haven’t found the difference between needs and wants.”

“We rely on the parents and teachers to fill the gap on school supplies, yet we can afford more gyms. Contractors everywhere rejoice!”

“How is spending more money on recreation and sports helping to educate our kids? Give the kids whatever they want in order to keep the parents from questioning why Lil Johnny is illiterate.”

“I just want to tell the person that hit the Nissan out at Walnut Square Mall Tuesday, I hope you’re proud of yourself.”

“The person who called and said anyone could pray anytime they wanted to is wrong. I taught one year in public schools and prayed and read the Bible. After having to go serve Uncle Sam and returning, the Supreme Court had changed the law so that after 200 years of freedom teachers could not pray or read the Bible in school.”

“Is anybody surprised that Ted Turner endorsed Hillary Clinton? After all he was married to one traitor already.”

“I don’t know why people are voting for Hillary Clinton. She’s been in there for years and hasn’t helped us yet.”

“I’ll be glad when this zoo of an election is over.”

“I guess now I can’t wear my new clown outfit for Halloween.”

“The pipeline break has long since been repaired, the hurricane did not affect our area here, so the only excuse for the gas stations keeping their gas prices as it is is pure, out and out greed. They know they’ve got you over a barrel. They know you’ve got to have gas if you’re going to go and get around. It can’t be anything but greed on their part. I hope they can live with themselves.”

“Donald Trump has got more common sense than Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have got book sense. He’s the man that can straighten America out.”

“To all the people who keep talking about our bad economy, I hate to break it to you but our economy has recovered. The economy was in the toilet when Bush was in office.”

“Is there any dentist in Dalton that takes Medicare and Medicaid or one of the other? If anybody knows of one, please put it in the Forum. And doctors, too, if there is a doctor that takes Medicare and Medicaid.”

“I hate to say I told you so, but don’t you think that Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz would have been a better candidate for the Republican ticket? Hello, hello? One thing I have to say is what were y’all thinking or smoking?”

“I’m so glad the paper published which local politicians are supporting Trump. Now I know never to vote for any of these guys again.”

“If you live in a house that was built before 1970, tear it down and have a new home built. It will be more efficient and less expensive to maintain. Out of fairness, local politicians, board of education members and school administrators should be the ones who happily pay for it.”

“I’m a 79-year-old Democrat but I will not vote Democrat or for Hillary Clinton because she could have prevented the four men from being killed in Benghazi. That was some mothers’ sons.”

“Which do you want as your president? Someone that will do wrong and apologize or one that is not aware or doesn’t remember?”

“I’m not worried about Donald Trump’s improprieties. Plenty of people have done far worse.”

“That’s true, HRC can’t take my guns away from me by herself but the Supreme Court can. The facts that we are presented with will keep me from voting for her. Trump’s not great but is a much better choice on the issues that count.”

“Whoever wrote ‘Why is it that all the leaders of Dalton think the citizens are nothing more than endless piggy banks?’ their way with words is perfect and they put it out there just right. I tell you what, that was beautiful.”
