Area Arrests for Feb. 5

Editor’s note: The following information is compiled from public records taken from reports from local law enforcement agencies.

• Cheyenne Gabrie Peoples, 29, 1104 Walston St.-207A, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with cruelty to children (excessive physical/mental pain), cruelty to children (criminal negligence) and battery (family violence).

• Cody Ryan Henderson, 39, 153 Upper Mill Creek Lane, Canton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by deception and felony theft receiving stolen property in another state.

• Kevin Corey Weaver Jr., 46, 109 Tanglewood Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of a schedule 4 drug and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Jordan Blake Dodd, 31, 1267 Stallion Way, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, hit and run and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

• Rogelio Alvarez-Lopez Jr., 35, 3001 Freedom Lane, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault (weapon) and cruelty to children (allowing to witness felony/battery/family violence).

• Tiffany Alisha Smith, 40, 308 Thor Ave., Calhoun, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, operating a vehicle without a proper tag/decal and driving without insurance.

• Dusty Zane Hall, 41, 277 N. Henderson Bend Road N.W., Calhoun, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth.
