Letter to the Editor: The best is yet to come for Dalton High School

Even though I have great grandkids now, I am and will always be a Dalton High School Catamount.

Our football team had a very tough season, something I have never seen or thought I would ever see. But I admire those young men playing their hearts out, trying to represent the “D.” We have a strong pride and tradition that will always remain at Dalton High. When teams say Dalton, no matter what sport it may be, they know what they are in for.

We shall return, we will bounce back. At Dalton High School there is no quit in our blood.

I love my school. Even at my senior citizen age, I still love the fight song, I still love the chant “Go Big Red!” The best has came, but the best is still yet to come!
