Carolyn Barnes Moses

Mrs. Carolyn Barnes Moses, 77, of Dalton, passed away on Saturday May 12, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Born September 21, 1929, in Summerton, Ala., to Frank E. and Bess Barnes, she graduated from Auburn University and was a member of the St. Marks Episcopal Church.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Bobby C. Moses of Dalton; daughters and son-in-law, Anna Marsh of Dalton, Charlotte Moses of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Caroline and Bob Carter of Birmingham, Ala.; grandchildren, John Robert Carter, Charlie Carter and Will Marsh.

Memorial services will be today at 2 p.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with internment will be in St. Marks Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends in the Parrish Hall today from 12:30 p.m. to the service time. The family will ask that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 901 W. Emery St., Dalton 30721 or to the National Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131 Fairfax, Va. 22037-1131.
