A jury of Whitfield County residents is expected to hear the high profile case of a Forsyth woman charged with murdering a second lover by poisoning him with antifreeze.
The trial of Lynn Turner, already serving a life sentence for the 1995 murder of her husband by antifreeze poisoning, is expected to begin Feb. 26. She faces the possibility of the death penalty if found guilty of the latest charge.
Several employees at the Whitfield County Courthouse declined to comment, saying they were under a gag order. Maj. John Gibson with the sheriff’s office said deputies will provide extra security for the trial.
