Sarah Miller Jones, 90, of the Mill Creek community, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at her residence.

She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Jones; parents, George Thomas and Mattie Lula Reed Miller; daughter-in-law, Vivian Roberts Jones; sisters, Beatrice Montgomery, Nilla Masters, Rose Sisk, Susie Williamson, and Henrietta Self; brothers, George, Johnny, and Herbert Miller.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Joyce and Coy Dunn, Peggy A. Jones, Linda Jones and Kathy Stricklan, all of Rocky Face; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Ray and Bernice Jones of Chatsworth; brother-in-law, Ben Jones; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Herbert and Iva Williamson all of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Lisa and Darin McClure, Todd and Valerie Jones, Heather Jones, Jimmy Dunn, Jill Dunn, Tige and Christy Stricklan; great-grandchildren, Landon and Ali McClure, Katy Beth and Ben Jones, Katy Gregg, Branson and Sarah Stricklan; nieces and nephews.

The funeral is Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Mill Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. George Ross and the Rev. Dewey Boyd officiating.

Burial will be at Mill Creek Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. today.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Mill Creek Baptist Church.
