Whitfield County Superior Court

The following pleas were heard in Whitfield County Superior Court on Tuesday:
• Sabrina Sue Crider, no address listed, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, burglary and theft by taking. She was sentenced to two years in prison; eight years of probation; ordered to pay a $300 fine plus court costs, surcharges and probation fees; must complete 300 hours of community service; and must pay $300 in restitution to the victim of the burglary. She was also ordered to stay away from the victim.
• Octavio Cruz, no address listed, pleaded guilty to possession of a fraudulent identification card. He was sentenced to 12 months of probation; must pay a $500 fine plus court costs, surcharges and probation fees; and must complete 50 hours of community service.
• Herman Ryan Ledford, no address listed, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and illegal possession of prescription drugs. He was sentenced to two years in prison.
• Jason Roy Lovingood, no address listed, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident. He was sentenced to five years of probation. The first 45 days he must wear an ankle monitor. He must pay a $2,500 fine plus court costs, surcharges and probation fees; complete 240 hours of community service; complete alcohol and drug abuse counseling; and submit to random drug screens.
• Cody Grant Ridley, no address listed, pleaded guilty to felony habitual violator. He was sentenced to 90 days on an ankle monitor; four years and nine months on probation; ordered to pay a $2,500 fine plus court costs, surcharges and probation fees; must complete 240 hours of community service; must complete alcohol and drug abuse counseling at the discretion of his probation officer; and must submit to random drug screens.
• James Clayton Whisman, no address listed, pleaded guilty to DUI, DUI (child endangerment), fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail; 35 months of probation; ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs, surcharges and probation fees; ordered to complete 200 hours of community service; must complete alcohol and drug abuse counseling at the discretion of his probation officer; must complete DUI school and must submit to random drug screens.
