Area Arrests for Nov. 1

• John Michael Kelly Cox, 20, 112 Cox Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with three counts of first degree forgery and theft by taking (motor vehicle).

• Kenneth Alan Davis, 37, 1750 Mount Vernon Road, Rocky Face, was charged Thursday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with failure to obey a traffic control device, reckless driving, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving too fast for conditions and DUI.

• Jessica Denise Deal, 20, 835-H Davenport Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking (motor vehicle).

• Darryl Jerome Felton, 41, 35 Tyler Woods Drive, Sharpsburg, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with first degree forgery.

• Javier Tapia-Partillo, 19, 306 Gowin St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with trafficking in cocaine and failure to appear.

• Ricardo Alexan Velasco-Rivera, 28, 893 Berry St. N.E., Cleveland, Tenn., was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by receiving stolen property, theft by deception, failure to appear and burglary.

• Shaun Eric Baynes, 35, 612 Barton Ave., Chattanooga, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI (less safe) and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Christopher William Loveless, 25, 4228 Keith Valley Road, Cohutta, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Lisa Denise McDonald, 42, 3033 Alpharetta Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of methamphetamine, DUI, driving with a withdrawn license and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Nakia Shane Quinn, 25, 3020 Mayo St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and a turning violation.
