Mrs. Billie Sharon Kinsey, age 69 of Resaca, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the local hospital. Billie was born July 1, 1938 in Bartow County, Ga., daughter of the late William G. “Bill” and Grace B. Sanford. She was preceded in death by great-grandson Levi O’Briant and brother Ray Yancey.

She is survived by her spouse, Richard Kinsey of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law Brad and Kim Kinsey of Dalton and Russell and Beth Kinsey of Ringgold, Ga.; daughter Robyn Baggett of Resaca, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law Betty and Harlin Evans, Ann and Farris Haynes of Dalton; grandchildren Lamar and Naomi Green and Allen and Lindsey Ball of Dalton, Brooke and Shawn Cole of Calhoun, Ga.; Will and Nicholas Kinsey of Dalton; Kristen Baggett of Chatsworth; Logan Baggett of Resaca, Ga.; Jarrod and Corbin Kinsey of Ringgold, Ga.; great-grandchildren Alley and Molly Cole, Tallen Ball; special cousin Hugh Don and Evelyn Sanford of Dalton; nieces and nephews Barry Evans, Steve Evans, Beverly Joy all of Dalton; Delbert Haynes of Tunnel Hill; numerous family and friends also survived.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Billie Kinsey will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 1 p.m. from the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Pastor Franky Ridley and Pastor Mark Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday. She will be laid to rest at the Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
