Paul D. Adams

Paul D. Adams, 54, of Georgia passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by parents, Mack and Saran Adams.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law; Cathi and Terry Brown; sons, Scott Guffey and Chris Bailey; grandchild, Garrett Brown, all of Georgia; two great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law; Roger and Gail Adams of Ten Mile, Sam and Darlene Adams of Sweetwater, Tenn., Tim and Cathy Adams of Philadelphia, sisters and brother-in-law; Rita and Doug Lyons of Athens, Robin Carroll, Valerie “BooBoo” Knox and Frankie Howell all of Sweetwater, several nieces and nephews.

The body is at Sweetwater Memory Chapel where the family will receive friends today from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The funeral is Thursday at 2 p.m. in Sweetwater Memory Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Oliver officiating.

Burial will be in Sweetwater Memorial Park. Sweetwater Memory Chapel in charge of the arrangements.
