Area arrests for November 23

• Derick Joseph Pharr, 29, 1698 Burnt Oak Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with disorderly conduct, cruelty to children in the third degree, battery (family violence) and DUI.

• Wesley John Ray Jr., 24, 109 Hill Circle, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with failure to maintain lane and DUI.

• Joshua Loran Carter, 30, 229 Depot St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with being a habitual violator, DUI, failure to obey a traffic control device, failure to maintain lane and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

• Armando Jacuide Cordova, 21, 6359 Bells Fairy Road, Acworth, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with driving without a license and DUI.

• Craig David Gazaway, 52, 145 Stadium Way, Cohutta, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of a schedule II drug, drugs out of original container, DUI, a taillight violation, a headlight violation and crossing the guard line with drugs.

• Tessa Marie Ketchem, 25, 1977 Woodlawn Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI.

• Abraham Lopez, 25, 621 Oak St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with driving without a license and DUI.
