Area arrests for Jan. 25

• Roy Lee Desmond, 25, 112 Driftwood Lane, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and driving while license withdrawn.

• Frank Andrew Kitchens, 36, 144 Farrar Road, Cohutta, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Jerome Anthony Logan, 54, 1709 West Side Circle, Rocky Face, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, failure of required position and methods of turning at intersections, failure to drive within a single lane, and open container in vehicle.

• Fredy Arnoldo Lopez-Perez, 27, Beechland Circle, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Deparment with DUI, failure to drive within a single lane, probation violation, driving without a license, driving while tag is suspended, and no insurance.

• Samantha Jean Sharp, 24, 2570 Crow Valley Road, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.

• Candice Renea Caldwell, 40, 1822 Windell St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Gwendolyn Delaina Kelly, 41, 914 New Hope Church Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with sale of cocaine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• James Earl Petty, 53, 1353 Peak Drive, Dalton, was charged with possession of marijuana, failure to appear, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and driving while license withdrawn.

• Carrie Ann Posey, 34, 516 Eber Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with forgery in the first degree and parole violation.
