Alice Stone announces the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Tena Richardson to William Jennings, both of Dalton. He is the son of the late James E. Jennings and Dorothy Jennings. She is also the daughter of the late Lee Allen Stone.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late William Farrel and Beatrice Towers and the late Lee A. Stone and Floy Stone. She is the mother of Stacey Haynes and Lee Richardson of Dalton.

Ms. Richardson is a graduate of Dalton High School. She is employed with Mini Warehouses of Dalton.

Mr. Jennings is the grandson of the late Eugene and Clemmie Jennings and the late Joe and Vera Ault. He is the brother of Ed Jennings and Bruce Jennings, both of Dalton. He is the father of Angela Jennings of Ringgold, Alethea Tempel of Rome and William Jennings Jr. of Ellijay.

The future groom is a graduate of Dalton High School and U.S. Army Defense School. He is retired from Smith and Green Construction.

The wedding is scheduled for June 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Dalton First Church of the Nazarene in Dalton.
