Area arrests

• Kevin Lee Chastain, 23, 1372 Graysville Road, Ringgold, was charged Saturday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with a felony probation violation, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, giving false information and a misdemeanor probation violation.

• Amanda Faye Edwards, 30, 561 Cobb Road, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, failure to yield a left turn and driving without insurance.

• Marlin Dewayne Cathers, 41, 114 Lower End Way, No. 1, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts.

• Anthony Lane Chastain Jr., 26, 321 W. Peach St., Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with open container of alcohol, speeding, driving on a suspended license and DUI.

• Pedro Hernandez-Crespo, 43, 1030 Factory St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.

• Danny Dewayne Patton, 45, 86 Weaver Spur, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Bryan Jose Santana, 17, 2031 Lelia Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with statutory rape.

• Rhonda Soriano-Reyes, 33, 110 Broome Place, H2, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.

• Cirilo Torres-Martinez, 21, 140 Richardson St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with terroristic threats and acts, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

• William Morris Walls, 64, 366 Mary Sue Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Chatsworth Police Department with dangerous driving and DUI.
