Willie Mae Maddox

Mrs. Willie Mae Maddox, 86, of Dalton, passed away on Saturday morning, April 10, 2010, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ross Maddox; a son, Henry Weatherby; parents, Lester and Mamie Yother Flowers; daughter-in-law, Betty Maddox.

Mrs. Maddox is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Emily and Bobby James of Varnell; sons and daughter-in-law; John Harry Maddox, Walter Leonard Maddox and Carl and Rosa Maddox, all of Dalton; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a sister; Euna Ralston of Chatsworth.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Willie Mae Maddox will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Mulkey officiating.

Interment will be at Union Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 until 9 p.m.
