James E. Pyron

James E. Pyron, 82, of Stone Mountain and formerly of Dalton, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Emory Eastside Medical Center in Snellville.
James was born in Fulton County. He served as a trooper in the Elite Constabulary Squadron, 3rd Army, during World War II E.T.O.
He was employed in the trucking industry by White Motor Co. and Peach State Ford for 40 years. Jim was a 50-year Emeritus Mason of the E.A. Minor Masonic Lodge 630 F&AM.
Survivors include his wife, of 57 years, Margaret Pyron of Stone Mountain; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Betsy Pyron of Dalton; daughter, Sharon Smith of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Heather Spivey and Christopher Spivey, both of Duluth, Austin Pyron of Dalton.
Arrangements are by Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn-Tucker Chapel.
