Phillip Joe Brock

Mr. Phillip Joe Brock, 64 of Dalton, departed this life Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Phillip was born Aug. 22, 1945, in Oak Ridge, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Brock.

He is survived by his mother, Genella Talley Brock of Dalton; sons, Jerry Brock of Ringgold,  David Joe Bock of Dalton, Stacy Neal of Ellijay; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Tim Davis of Ringgold, Lisa Brock and Mike Camerota of Rancho Cucamonga, Callif.; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Pam Brock of Dalton; 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Phillip Joe Brock will be Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating.

Interment will be in Brock Cemetery. Jonathan Brock, Chris Brock, Andy Brock, David Brock, Donnie Groves and Mike Lock will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends today from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
