Area arrests

• Kevin Dewayne Carroll, 27, 228-A Seep Springs Road, Rocky Face, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.

• Jermichael Jerell Dempsey, 19, 606 N. Selvidge St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of or intent to sell marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Derek Doyle Dobson, 29, 1392 Mill Creek Road, Rocky Face, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of cocaine.

• Scott Leon Holland, 45, 125 Dean Road, Resaca, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with burglary (two counts) and criminal attempt to commit a felony.

• Sabrina Hook, 43, 151 N. Michigan Ave. No. 2302, Chicago, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with second degree forgery, felony theft by receiving stolen property, felony theft by bringing stolen property into state and giving false information.

• Robert Larry Hughett Jr., 36, 822 Shugart Road, Apt. A-8, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.

• Sarah Rene McGuire, 58, 962 Hall Memorial Road NW, Calhoun, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Jerry Lamar Parker, 59, 241 Seep Springs Road, Rocky Face, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.

• Adam Shane Phillips, 26, 414 Moore St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Priscilla Jolene Samuelson, 28, 951 Old Cottonwood Mill Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.

• Christina Yu, 43, 2477 S. Sadar St., Arlington Heights, Ill., was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with prostitution, masturbation for hire and massages in places for lewdness.

• Joshua Lynn Peabody, 22, 327 Patricia Lane, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with simple battery, criminal trespass, harassing phone calls and false imprisonment.

• Tracey Dwight Watkins, 39, 711 S. Hamilton St., Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with felony probation violation.

• Brittany M. Wooten, 21, 3344 Hurricane Road, Rocky Face, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.
