Dalton garbage/recycling pickup schedule changed because of the holidays

The City of Dalton Public Works Department will be closed to observe Christmas on Thursday, Dec. 23, and Friday, Dec. 24. No garbage or recycling will be picked up on those days.

Tuesday and Wednesday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on the regularly scheduled days.

Thursday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday.

Friday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Wednesday.

The department will be closed to observe New Year’s Day on Friday, Dec. 31. No garbage or recycling will be picked up on that day. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on their regularly scheduled days that week.

Friday’s garbage and recycling (Dec. 31) will be picked up on Thursday, Dec. 30.
