Claudia Mae Mullins

Mrs. Claudia Mae Mullins, 77, of Dalton, departed this life peacefully Wednesday morning, Aug. 25, 2010, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Claudia was born May 15, 1933, in Dalton, a daughter of the late Homer and Annie Bessie Crider Hughes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis L. Brownlee.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Randy and Peggy Mullins of Ellijay, Billy Mullins of Chatsworth and David Brownlee of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Robert Wells of Resaca and Leona and Jerry Botts of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth and Melvin Burke of Summerville and Bessie and Joe Dilbeck of Fort Oglethorpe; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Claudia Mae Mullins are Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Leon Starkes officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
