Area arrests

• Pamela Sclene Burk, 39, 1057 Cavender Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Linda Gail Hixon, 40, 651 W. Nance Springs Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Melvin Eugene Massingill Jr., 41, 4650 Old Dixie Highway, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with trafficking in meth, possession with intent to distribute meth and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Hector Ramon Delgado, 44, 226 Netchall Way, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, failure to maintain lane and driving without a valid license.

• Christopher Dennis Howard, 28, 236 Serena Way, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI (two counts), failure to maintain lane (three counts), hit and run, speeding and child safety belt violation.

• Deanna Young Morris, 49, 2451 Crow Valley Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, willful obstruction of law officers, hit and run and following too closely.
