GSGA opens entry period for Georgia Women’s Match Play Championship

Entries are now being accepted for the 14th annual Georgia Women’s Match Play Championship, which takes place June 14-17, 2011, at Sunset Hills Country Club in Carrollton. This Georgia State Golf Association event is open to female amateur golfers who are GSGA members.

The field will consist of 48 or 64 players with the lowest USGA handicap indexes. The format is match play preceded by 18-hole stroke play qualifying to determine seeds in flights.

Eligible players must enter at gsga.org by clicking the online registration link. Deadline for entry is May 25.
