Dalton Arts Project announces winners in 2019 Nutcracker Art Contest

- The Dalton Arts Project is proud to announce the winners of the 2019 Nutcracker Art Contest. Entries used different media with a "Nutcracker" theme. In the front row, from left, are Mary Lois Thompson, third place, prekindergarten to kindergarten division; Caroline Strain, first place, prekindergarten to kindergarten division; Leila Herz, second place, prekindergarten to kindergarten division; and Khloe Hunt, third place, third-fourth grades division. In the middle row are Holly Ellison, first place, third-fourth grades division; Gisele Cortes, first place, first-second grades division; Caris Drobnick, second place, third-fourth grades division; Claire Ellis, third place, first-second grades division; and Wells Wilkerson, third place, third-fourth grades division. On the back row are Lily Stepp, second place, fifth-12th grades division; Sara Kate Elrod, first place, fifth-12th grades division; and Millie Bledsoe, third place, fifth-12th grades division. The winning entries will be displayed at the "Nutcracker 2019" performances Dec. 13-14 and 20-21 in the Dalton High School theater.
