Hospital seeks public input

Do you want to have direct input and influence on policies and practices at your community hospital? Hamilton Medical Center (HMC) will host an information session on its Patient and Family Advisory Council on Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Mensa Meeting Room (next to the HMC cafeteria).

Free car seat check event today

The Dalton Police Department and several other groups are hosting a free car seat check event today from 10 a.m. to noon at the Walmart Neighborhood Market (pharmacy side) at 100 W. Walnut Ave. Certified technicians will educate caregivers about proper car seat installation and answer questions.
