Entries will be closing on Oct. 20 for the 19th annual Georgia Senior Four-Ball Championship, which takes place Nov. 10-12 at Lakes at Laura S. Walker in Waycross and Okefenokee Country Club in Blackshear.

This Georgia State Golf Association event is open to two-man teams of male amateur golfers who are GSGA members, age 55 or older as of Nov. 10 and have a maximum handicap differential of six strokes.

The format of the event is 54 holes of flighted, four-ball stroke play over three days.

The field will consist of 96 teams — 48 teams with the lowest combined USGA Handicap Indexes competing in the championship flight (handicap differential requirement does not apply) and 48 teams determined by lottery.

Last year, John Carter and Ronald Waeghe of Greensboro started the day five shots off the leader’s pace, but fired a final-round 62 to claim victory by one stroke over the previous year’s champions, Larry Clark of Kingston and Don Marsh of Johns Creek.
