FFA members help with Community Garden

- The Dalton High School Future Farmers of American members spent two recent Saturdays volunteering at the Lakeshore Park Community Garden helping to prepare the garden for the winter. FFA Chapter members cleaned, cleared, tilled and mulched the garden and completed a full renovation of the raised bed garden beds, walkways and work areas. Chapter members shown participating are Monserrat Mendez, Katherine Ortega and Vanessa Cortez. Other members included Jocelyn Gonzales, Eric Orozco, Grace Neale, Kayla Goodwin, and Martha Fraire. The group will return to the Community Garden in the spring.
