Thirty-six Southeast High School students recently attended Youth Assembly at the State Capitol in Atlanta.

This three-day event provided high school students throughout the state an opportunity to discuss current issues with state administrators and elected officials, participate in mock committee meetings and debate and vote on the bills that their fellow delegates wrote and presented.

Junior Osiris Cardona received Best Orator in the Judicial Program and was named one of three associate justices for next year. Sophomore Chase Stafford won the award for Best House Bill.
