JROTC rifle team: Dalton High takes down LaFayette and Ridgeland

The Dalton High School’s JROTC rifle team competed at Cherokee High School recently against the Ridgeland and LaFayette high school teams.
During the matches, there are three positions the members shoot from: prone, standing and kneeling. Cadets restrain themselves from eating dairy or eating sugar during the season because the sugar and dairy will make them shake. They must be still while shooting to make a decent score because they don’t get to rest the rifle on a stand while shooting.
