Local Democratic Party’s Chili Cook-off rescheduled to this Saturday

The Whitfield County Democratic Party’s seventh annual Chili Cook-off has been rescheduled for Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mack Gaston Community Center. Tickets are $6 for a chili meal, drink and dessert. The chili cook-off is open to all, with no entry fee.

This year, one-half of the proceeds will go to the DEO Clinic, a nonprofit medical clinic located at the Mack Gaston Community Center. There will be information about the clinic’s services and hours. Also available will be voter registration and election information.
