- At the Feb. 6-8 Georgia Thespians Conference in Columbus, drama students (or thespians) from Southeast Whitfield High School, Murray County High School and Dalton High School joined forces to perform a Multi-Troupe Individual Event or adjudicated musical performance of "Run, Freedom, Run" from the musical "Urinetown." In the first of what directors Alana Sane, Keith Rollins and Wes Phinney hope will be many more such collaborative efforts, the combined schools received a Superior rating (the highest rating) from one judge and an Excellent rating from two other judges. Pictured are the students who participated in the performance, as well as several students who performed additional adjudicated pieces at the conference.
