• There will be a special faith and healing service at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, at the Dalton Barber Shop at 416 N. Glenwood Ave. The service will include singing.
• Come Away with Me: A High Lonesome Mass will be presented by First Baptist Church’s Sanctuary Choir with the Chuck Nation Band on Sunday, April 13, at 10:30 a.m. This is a traditional mass set with bluegrass music. The church is at 311 N. Thornton Ave. in Dalton.
• First Presbyterian Church of Dalton’s Holy Week activities include April 13: Palm Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church; April 17: Maundy Thursday worship at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Dalton (the two congregations will combine their worship on this evening, First Presbyterian Church Pastor Nicole Jiskoot will deliver the message and clergy and laypersons from both congregations will participate in the service); April 18: Good Friday service at 5:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church; April 19: Easter Egg Hunt at the home of Walter and Jeane Jones; April 20: Fellowship and Flowering of the Cross at 9:45 a.m., Easter Sunday worship service at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome at all events. “Love First, Love All”
