HS Roundup: Dalton freshmen top Colts

FRESHMAN BASKETBALL

Dalton High School’s freshman boys basketball team ran its winning streak to two games by defeating Coahulla Creek 65-34 on Monday.

Bryce Stanley led Dalton (2-1) with 13. Brock Parham paced the Colts with 13 points.

Dalton defeated Gilmer on Saturday 45-14. Jager Dickson led the Catamounts with 12 points.

• Southeast Whitfield 44, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 22: Alex Flores led the Raiders with 13 points while Murphy Flood scored 11 points.

• Heritage-Catoosa boys 34, Northwest Whitfield 31: Brady Stroud and Chris Cunningham each had eight points as Northwest (2-1) lost for the first time this season.
