Pet of the Week: Meet Barron

Barron is a 2-and-a-half-year-old Min Pin rat terrier mix. Barron weighs about 13 pounds and can run very fast. He will need a fenced yard to keep him safe. He would enjoy being an only dog because he loves all of your attention. He is good with kids and plays well with most dogs. He is housebroken and very affectionate. He would make a great cuddle buddy.

You can go to hsnwga.org to apply for him or to fill out an online application to volunteer. We have about 115 dogs and 87 cats needing homes.

We are open on Fridays from 3 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for tours and adoptions. We are available to adopt out dogs seven days a week for approved adopters.

We are at 1210 Veterans Drive in Dalton.
