Pet of the Week: Meet Baby Girl

Meet Baby Girl, a 4-year-old, 72-pound boxer mix. Baby Girl is very affectionate and loves everyone she meets. She loves riding in the car and is totally house-trained. She does not do well with other dogs so would need a home with no other pets. Please consider giving this sweet girl a chance. She has been at the shelter way too long.

Santa Paws and the Grinch will be at PetSmart on Walnut Avenue on Sunday, Dec. 3, from noon to 4 p.m. for Santa Paws pictures. The fee is $15 and all proceeds go to the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia.

We are open to the public on Fridays from 3 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We are also available to show dogs and to adopt out dogs seven days a week to approved adopters.

You can go to hsnwga.org to apply for a dog or cat and to fill out an online application to volunteer. We are at 1210 Veterans Drive Dalton.
