The next performer in the Creative Arts Guild’s 2019 InConcert Series “Stories & Song” is singer-songwriter Paul Childers, who will entertain attendees with his blend of pop, R&B and soul, on Friday.

From Nashville, Tennessee, and leading a new breed of singer-songwriters and guitarists, Childers finds a way to blur the lines cast between Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix styles of guitar playing, a Motown rhythm section and pop vocal melodies.

Acmeville Records selected Childers as the debut artist on its label, which features live recordings from the Nashville music hotspot. Touring nationally since 2017, Childers has opened for Robert Cray and Vince Gill and performed at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and at the grand opening of the Songbirds Guitar Museum in Chattanooga.

Tickets are $10 for general admission; $8 for senior citizens; $5 for Dalton State College and area students (K-12); and free for kids under 5.
