The Dalton Dance Company will present its spring dance concert "Where We Belong" March 22-24.

The Dalton Arts Project presents the Dalton Dance Company in its spring dance concert “Where We Belong” on Friday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 24, at 2 p.m. in the Dalton High School theater.

More than 100 dancers will participate in this rich program of passion, innovation and athleticism. This high-energy dance concert of hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, ballet and tap techniques, fun and inspirational music, and lots of special technical effects explores the places where we belong through our dancing. Each year the dancers choose to “dance for a cause.” This year, the dancers have chosen the Shepherd Center for its treatment of our friends with brain and spinal cord injuries.

Twenty-eight young men will join the dancers in a new partner piece, “Holding Out for a Hero,” created by Jo Beth Thompson. Other choreographers — Lance Washington from Dothan, Alabama, Dalton Arts Project Director Berrien Long, Lori Beth Eicholtz, Bettye Jo Wilson and Ryann Ellis — have set original ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop dances for the performers.

Dancers include Lily Adams, Emily Allen, Caroline Coleman, Amber Fischer, Lily Claire Golden, Lily Halverson, Hadley King, Ollie Lambert, McCord Land, Ann McIntosh, Hannah Miller, Emma Mitchell, Mary Grace Mitchell, Lily Rehberg, Windel Ross, Alex Rowe, Caroline Scoggins, Arden Wong, Mimi Grace Young, Abby Adams, Emma Rose Bagby, Reese Brown, Meg Coleman, Sophia Creswell, Katy Dilbeck, Katie Forrester, Mia Gale, Parker Jones, Maddie King, Paige Manahan, Iris Putnam, Dori Reynolds, Reese Reynolds, Emma Ridley, Addie Simmons, Madeline Skojac, Emily Stephens, Jordyn Swilley, Emma Grace Tillman, Rayna Wilson, Emma Kate Woods, Ariana Avila, Rylei Brown, Makayla Byrd, Emma Grace Ferguson, Caroline Fox, Sarah Gordy, Anna Lee Grafe, Sara Grace Jones, Josie Kyer, Lele Lama, Shipley Maret, Olivia Mitchell, Chrisaren Parker, Drew Patton, Kenley Roberts, Aidan Stacy, Madison Whittle, Sophia Bagby, Katherine Brownlee, Meredith Dilbeck, Sara Kate Elrod, Hannah Grace Hammontree, Ella Helton, Victoria Henry, Addison Hester, Banks Land, Mia Martinez, Claire Miller, Lena Riggle, Ava White, Kinsey Woodson, Tucker Mardis, Jack Forthman, Fletcher Griffin, Carter Pendley, Chapman Painter, Jack Sanderson, Jackson Tomsic, Colby Wills, Rhett Hammontree, Keenan Pasqua, DJ Hutcheson, Charlie McClurg, William Helton, Ryan Laruy, Cristian Vergara, Mauricio Lino, Austin Burt, Reese McCoy, AJ Hernandez, Ryan Hulsey, Cade Thames, Rucker Reeves, Parker Adams, Bryce Houghton, Carter Reynolds, Will Wright, Liam Davies and Ray Moncavo.
